REFORMING AGENT FOR NYLON

Na-SIPA

Normal nylon 6 and 66 fiber is usually dyed with Acid dyes and it is very difficult to dye this fiber with Cationic dyes. Further the colour obtained by dyeing with acid dyes is not clear & bright.

By addition of Na-SIPA during Polymerization, the fiber becomes dyeable with cationic dyes and this dyeings are brighter & clearer.

Quantity added     :-  1.5 – 4 moles %
Keys uses            :-  Mixing Cationic Dyeable Nylon with regular nylon or other kind of fibers gives special fibers for uses as floor carpet and car seats & mat which are dyed first with acid dyes and then with cationic dyes for differentiated dyeing giving bright & clear two tone effect.
